A consistent focus of the company is on building capacity for analysis and decision making on low carbon development amongst a wide range of stakeholders in multiple countries.

In Ruanda, working for the Prime Minister‘s Office, TSTES developed a long-term strategic capacity building plan that would allow the country to supply the skilled professionals required to scale up its electricity sector.

In Vietnam, TSTES’ staff worked on a year-long GIZ / World Bank program to train the Ministry of Transport on defining future national plans and commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector. 

For DFID, TSTES’ staff developed a capacity-building strategy for selected African and South Asian low-income countries to develop sustainable low-carbon, high-volume transport systems.
